City Building was announced as the winners of the Working Together Award which recognised the commitment the company has made to train and develop its staff across all sections of the business. We were also the only company to receive a commendation in the Corporate Social Responsibility Award for our efforts in the local communities which we operate.
City Building Executive Director, Graham Paterson said: “It’s great that City Building has been recognised by the Inspiring City Awards for our commitment to our employees as well as to the wider communities in which we operate.
“The continued development of our staff from apprentices right through to their careers to management is a key area of our business and to have our efforts celebrated in this way is a testament to the hard work of our entire team.”
Now in their second year, the judges for the 2014 awards praised the high calibre of “truly outstanding” individuals and firms like City Building who go the extra mile to make a difference to people’s lives.
